The Spedimar ( Spedizioni di Martino ) Board of Directors has reappointed Gloria Dari as president for the three-year term 2025-2028. At the inaugural meeting held yesterday, December 10, the entrepreneur of Euromar srl was unanimously elected to once again lead the association of Livorno-based international freight forwarding and logistics companies

A significant return to the helm

For Gloria Dari, this marks a significant return to the helm, having already successfully led the association for nearly a decade, from 2013 to 2022. The Board's decision, explains a statement from the association, recognizes the value of a network of institutional relationships consolidated over time: the new president, in fact, still holds positions of national importance as a member of the Fedespedi Board of Directors and vice president of Confetra Toscana.

General Assembly Meeting

The election process began with the General Assembly on November 25th at the Livorno Yacht Club. At that meeting, outgoing President Giovanni Tognotti announced his intention not to seek re-election for personal reasons; however, Tognotti assured that he will continue to offer his support within the Board in his role as past president.

Support of a strong Team

A Strong team will support Gloria Dari in this new term: Antonio De Luca (Kraal Company Trademare srl) returns to the Board as Acting Vice President, while Susanna Ghelarducci (Ghelarducci Gino sas) is promoted to Vice President after gaining experience as a director.

In thanking her colleagues for their renewed trust, Gloria Dari immediately outlined the program for her mandate. While ensuring continuity with past work, the primary objective will be to look to the future of the profession. "One of the priorities of the new mandate will be to increasingly engage members to foster the necessary generational turnover," the president stated. Hence the desire to establish Spedimar's "Young People's Group" as soon as possible, an operational laboratory designed to integrate new talent into decision-making processes and prepare the future leadership of the Livorno logistics sector.

Spedimar's new structure, reflecting the diversity of the local business landscape, involves large groups and historic family businesses. In addition to the aforementioned president and vice presidents, the Board of Directors includes Paola Bartoli, Marco Bartolini, Simone D'Ambra, Antonio Genovesi, Emiliano Pistoia, and Massimo Pucciani.

At the same time, the control and assurance bodies were established. The Board of Auditors is composed of Andrea Bolognesi, Michela Colò, and Gaetano D'Alesio, while the Board of Arbitrators is composed of Nicola Carrai, Carlo Cristiani, and Nicola Di Batte.
