A new hybrid catamaran leading the Blue Transformation in Mediterranean tourism

The project, supported by regional and European sustainability programs, combines cutting-edge marine engineering with environmental responsibility. Designed and built in Alicante, the vessel integrates renewable energy systems — including solar panels, hydrogenerators, and energy storage based on lithium batteries — to significantly reduce CO₂ emissions during operations.
An educational and scientific platform
Beyond its propulsion system,Mundo Marino Sostenibleis conceived as an educational and scientific platform. The catamaran will host environmental workshops, research collaborations with universities and marine institutes, and accessible experiences for people with disabilities, reinforcing Mundo Marino’s social commitment.
