Lines, Ltd Takeshi Hashimoto posted on his account on LinkedIn : Since assuming the role of President and CEO in 2021, my focus has been on transforming MOL into a resilient, global social infrastructure group through our management plan, "BLUE ACTION 2035." Having successfully navigated Phase 1 (to FY 2025) and established a clear path for large-scale strategic investments, I believe now is the perfect time to transition to a new leadership team for Phase 2 (FY 2026 ~ 2030).
Mr. Jotaro Tamura will succeed Mr Takeshi Hashimoto as President & CEO, effective April 1, 2026. This transition marks our evolution toward a "Cooperative Management System," where Jotaro will lead alongside our new COO(Mr. 梅村 尚) and CFO (Mr. Kazuya Hamazaki) to ensure agile and collective decision-making.
Takeshi Hashimoto added : Having spearheaded our global container and liner businesses from key hubs like Singapore and London, Jotaro has earned deep trust both within the company and across the industry.
