Circle Group announces a new digital supply chain project based on the Milos ecosystem, aimed at implementing a digital system optimized for managing operational processes, leveraging real-time data, and streamlining customs procedures.
The project, as explained by the company specializing in the digitalization of ports, intermodal logistics, and energy transition, is valued at approximately €280,000 and, as part of the LogIn Business initiatives, is part of the Group's growth strategy, which aims to foster the adoption of advanced digital solutions along the supply chain, with a particular focus on operational efficiency, system interoperability, and data quality.
Specifically, the implementation of the Milos Terminal Operating System suite and specific Milos platform application modules, designed to support the integrated management of terminal operations and improve coordination between the various stakeholders involved in logistics and document flows, will enable real-time visibility of operational activities and greater integration with existing information systems.
The project is also developed in accordance with the European eFTI Regulation (EU Regulation 2020/1056) and contributes to the progressive digitalization of transport information, promoting the structured and secure exchange of data and anticipating regulatory developments in digital logistics.
In addition to streamlining processes and reducing operating costs, the system introduces document dematerialization: by eliminating paper, it contributes to environmental sustainability goals. Finally, the modernization of digital infrastructure strengthens the competitiveness of the logistics and port system, promoting multimodal management of sea-land flows.

"This initiative confirms Circle's ability to transform the operational complexity of the supply chain into value through concrete and scalable digital solutions, contributing significantly to the growth of Circle's order book and the progressive enhancement of the Milos ecosystem," stated Circle Group President and CEO Luca Abatello, emphasizing that the project is part of the Group's development path, in continuity with the execution of the Connect 4 Agile Growth business plan.
Several years on, the Yangpu Port has undergone a profound transformation. Once a small, remote harbor long focused mainly on domestic trade with limited container throughput capacity, it has developed into "the Pearl of the South China Sea" in the global shipping network, with overarching sailing routes that connect not only Southeast Asia but also extend across the hemisphere to Middle East and other BRI partner countries. The port has also positioned itself as a trailblazer in advancing high-level opening-up reforms and various "first-of-their-kind" innovations coming into fruition that inject new impetus to the Hainan FTP's development.
