ADES Holding Company which is part of Saudi Arabia-headquartered ADES Group, announced that it has received notices to resume one of its offshore drilling contracts, along with a number of suspended onshore drilling contracts in Saudi Arabia according to a statement on Tadawul, work under the offshore drilling contract is expected to resume in January 2026.
The rig had recently secured a contract in Cameroon and is currently undergoing preparation works in Bahrain, in close proximity to Saudi Arabia. In parallel, the company will deploy the Admarine 501 rig to execute the Cameroon contract once it completes its existing six-month term (firm period plus optional extension) in Nigeria, providing visibility for the rig for up to two years . In order to meet the client’s requirements efficiently, ADES will deploy the Admarine 510 rig for this contract.
Resumption of a number of contracts in Saudi Arabia

On the other hand Dr. Mohamed Farouk, CEO of ADES Holding, emphasized: “We are very pleased to announce the resumption of a number of contracts in Saudi Arabia, which marks another important milestone in our home market and validates our positive long-term view on the strength of demand in the Kingdom and globally.”
The firm will deploy the 2019-built jack-up to fulfill the Cameroon award upon completion of the rig’s current six-month contract in Nigeria, thereby prolonging the mobile offshore drilling unit’s visibility for the potential duration of two years.
