CMA CGM announced a reshuffle of its MEDEX service, introducing a new relay through Alexandria and Beirut. According to the company, the change aims to improve connectivity and transit times between the Mediterranean, the Indian Subcontinent, the Middle East Gulf, and the Red Sea in both directions.
The service will operate weekly
The service will operate weekly, with coverage linking the Levant region to and from the Indian Subcontinent and Middle East areas. CMA CGM highlighted faster transit times to and from the East Mediterranean via Alexandria and Beirut, connected with SSL Mediterranean services.

The first Alexandria import call is scheduled to be operated by the vessel CMA CGM MOZART with an estimated time of arrival on November 6. The first Beirut export call was completed by CMA CGM TITUS with an estimated time of arrival on October 23.

- Extensive coverage through our hubs connecting Levant to and from Indian Sub-continent and Middle East area
- Fast transit time to & from East Mediterranean via Alexandria & Beirut connecting SSL Mediterranean services.
- First Alexandria import call will be operated by m/v "CMA CGM MOZART" voy. 0MEM3W1MA with following schedule: Alexandria (ETA 06/11)
- First Beirut export call already performed by m/v "CMA CGM TITUS" voy. 0MXNTE1MA with following schedule: Beirut (ETA 23/10)
