Around 18,000 products destined for an Italian company were found on the vehicle

About 18 presumably counterfeit bags and the trailer they were travelling on were stopped in the port of Ancona by officials from the Customs Office and the Guardia di Finanza of the local Provincial Command

A check on vehicles entering the national territory, a note reconstructs, led to the identification of an articulated lorry arriving from Greece. Subsequent checks allowed the discovery in the trailer of approximately 18,000 bags with presumably counterfeit brands destined for an Italian company. Both the goods and the vehicle were seized according to Shipping Italy

Customs and the Guardia di Finanza report

Among the material stopped, Customs and the Guardia di Finanza report, there are in particular 3,390 items bearing the brand – presumably fake – Tommy Hilfiger and another 14,215 products lacking the mandatory information required by the Consumer Code. The perpetrators of the crime, the note concludes, have been reported to the judicial authorities.
