A highly secretive build, the first glimpses of her exterior were only revealed last week where the 134.2-metre German yard Lürssen superyacht Deep Blue has been launched from the Lürssen Yachts shipyard in Vegesack, Bremen, as the first images of her outside the shed are unveiled. Her delivery is expected before November,
Construction on the secretive superyacht began in 2021, with details surrounding the project kept tightly under wraps. In July 2023, her hull was launched and assembled outside the facility on a floating dock, with her bow then joined to the rest of the vessel.
The first images of Deep Blue show a bold tiered aft profile, with sleek decks showcasing deep overhangs. Constructed with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, Deep Blue features naval architecture from her builder Lürssen Yachts.

Deep Blue is estimated to have around 9,000 GT of interior volume and boasts a four deck configuration, suggesting guests will enter onboard via two mirrored staircases from her swim platform.
Yacht-spotters have drawn similarities between Project Deep Blue’s lines and those of Ahpo (now Lady Jorgia), with the same tapered decks on the forward part of the superstructure.
The exterior profile of Deep Blue appears to follow Lürssen’s signature design with sheer lines that draw the eye from the bow to stern. Deep Blue will also benefit from an abundance of natural light, thanks to large sweeping glazed surfaces, which adorn her hull and superstructure.
In terms of performance, Deep Blue is powered by an impressive eight MTU engines and has an estimated delivery date of 2025.
